Lauren is a two-time Emmy-winning director and creative director specializing in sports documentaries, animation, and branded storytelling. Her work blends vérité filmmaking, cinematic design, and bold, emotionally resonant storytelling—often elevating athletes’ personal journeys beyond the arena. She directed In The Arena: Serena Williams (ESPN), Greatness Code (Apple TV+), and NFL Draft Stories (ESPN/NFL), among others. Lauren currently serves as a director and creative lead at Religion of Sports, where she’s helped shape experiential content for the NFL and NBA, and campaigns for brands like Nike and Uncrustables.
Recent projects include The Fastest 6 Weeks in Sports (Roku, 2025), a five-part docuseries following WNBA rookies Georgia Amoore and Sania Feagin through their chaotic transition from college to the pros.
With a background in motion design and an eye for integrating emerging technology like AI and AR into her storytelling, Lauren’s work sits at the intersection of sports, culture, and identity. Her perspective is deeply influenced by her own experiences as a queer woman in the industry and her passion for elevating voices not often seen in sports media.
